Its abilities raise serious questions, not least among academics who fear students can just type in an essay question and ChatGPT will do all the work. There are also claims hackers are using it to improve or even write malware. Its abilities go beyond words, with sister AI DALL·E 2 able to create realistic images and art from a description in natural language. It even designed the illustration for this article.
So, as ChatGPT has the potential to work 24 hours a day and replace millions of workers, from call centre operatives to lawyers, I decided to sit down for an interview with CatGPT – the world’s most powerful mind – to see what it thinks about the future.
