Who's teaching you
I'm Matt Haycox. I've spent over 25 years on every side of business money.
As an operator, I've started and run over 30 businesses and raised over £250m for them. As a lender, I've lent over £1bn to more than 750 businesses. That means reading the accounts, the bank statements and the credit papers, and making the actual decision: yes or no, how much, at what price, and secured on what. As an investor, I've backed over 100 more.
And I'm still doing all of it today. I'm lending this week, raising this week, and I've got facilities of my own up for renewal, same as you. So what you learn in Capital Catalyst is how the market works right now, not what was happening 10 years ago.

Do I need to be raising money right now?
No. The best time to learn this is before you need it, because by the time you're applying, it's often too late to fix what a lender will see.
Does it matter where my business is based?
No. The principles are the same wherever you are, and I've raised money from investors in over 50 countries.
Will you tell me which lenders to go to?
I'll teach you how every type of funding works, what it should cost, and how to go and get it yourself. The names of lenders and investors live in separate directories, which you can buy if you want them.
