Sherif Lanre talks Social Media Influencers, Money and Reality TV

Love Island contestant Sherif Lanre talks Social Media Influencers, Money and Reality TV. Sherif understand that influence, and followers doesn’t automatically mean money and we are here at the NAC Birmingham event to talk future plans and business life.

Amongst his peers, Sherif’s grounded nature and real-world business understanding is highly refreshing. The usual rules of business apply to celebrities too, and this is core to his mindset.

In this interview, he opens up about the pressures from management teams after reality show appearances that often come with promises of instant stardom, quick money and immediate opportunities, without any long-term growth strategies. In his interview, Sherif highlights the importance of understanding and engaging with your audience, and not just become a billboard for brands.

Sherif also shares his life before love island, including his career as a chef and lifelong passion for rugby that is leading to his launch of the Sherif Lanre Academy, which aims to nurture young rugby talents.
