MATT HAYCOX FOUNDATION

Every year we host at least three annual events to help raise funds for seriously and terminally ill children and their families across the UK.

The idea for The Matt Haycox Foundation was born back in 2017, following a chance meeting I had with a young boy called Alfie Stalley. Alfie is a cerebral palsy sufferer and was offered a life-changing operation if funds could be raised.

Sadly, time wasn’t on his side.

When I woke up that morning and made my way to Hartlepool Football club, I had never expected to meet Alfie and his family, but fate intervened. Moved by his incredible story and bravery, I ended up donating nearly 50% of the money that was needed for his time-sensitive surgery. Alfie got his operation which was a fantastic success, and I love to see his continued progress even to this day.

I wanted to do more, and so The Matt Haycox Foundation was established.

WHAT WE'VE ACHIEVED

Every year we host at least three annual events to help raise funds for seriously and terminally ill children and their families across the UK.

The generosity of donors and our hard work have enabled us to hit our target of raising at least £100,000 every year, allowing us to support the children that need it most. But we don’t plan on stopping there!

We will be hosting many more events in the future, so keep your eyes peeled and I’ll look forward to seeing you at one of them soon!
