Direct access to every investor and lender that fits your deal
182,989 investors, plus lenders, angel networks and crowdfunding platforms, exactly matched to your deal. It's the same system I personally use for my own raises.
The system I use for my own raises
I'm Matt Haycox.
I've raised over £250m for my own companies, including over £15m from a single investor, and over £50m for the businesses I advise. I've funded over £1bn across more than 750 businesses and invested in over 100 more.
Every raise starts with the same job: finding out who has the money, who backs deals like yours and who's investing right now. I built Capital Raiser to do that job across every kind of funding, and it's what my team and I use on our own raises.
Now you can use it too, on your own deal, without hiring anyone.
3 searches on one investor database
- Founders
Find individual investors
Angels, high net worth investors, family office principals and fund partners, matched to your raise with the reasons each one fits.
- Founders
Find funds
Venture and private equity funds, family offices, syndicates and angel networks: their strategy, stages, sectors, fund size, where they invest and the filings behind them. Find not just the firm but the decision makers in it.
- Fund managers
Find your own investors
Raising a fund? Search for limited partners: family offices, high net worth investors, wealth managers and private banks that back funds like yours.
You can't pitch investors you don't know
If you've never raised before, you probably haven't got a single investor to call. So you search online, find a list of venture capital funds and send your deck to all of them.
Most of them will never back a business like yours. They write a different size of cheque, back a different sector or only invest in their own country.
The investor tools out there give you names. Very few tell you why a name fits your deal, how fresh the details are or what to check before you get in touch, and none of them covers lenders and debt funds too.

More ways to find investors
Start from who you already know, who's already said yes, or the whole database.
Investors you already know Free
Connect your LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook or Google contacts, or upload your phone's contacts. It shows which of your own contacts are investors, with everything we hold on each, plus the advisers and private bankers who can introduce you to more. Many founders don't know some of their existing contacts are already serious investors.
More like the ones who said yes Lookalikes
Pick investors who were interested, or who are already on your cap table, and it finds others with the same profile: where they are, what they back, cheque size and track record. It can also go beyond the database and find new people like them.
Browse every investor 182,989 to start
Filter by country, sector, cheque size, debt or equity and type of investor, and watch the count change as you go.
Is your deck investor-ready?
Upload your pitch deck and get a free review in minutes, built on the way I tear decks apart when founders send them to me.
A score out of 100 against the checks investors make, slide by slide what works and what to fix, anywhere the deck contradicts itself, the slides that are missing, and what to fix in the business as well as the deck.
Keep every version. Upload the next one and see what improved, and keep separate decks for each raise.
Every type of funder in one search
Each kind of funder is matched on the things that decide whether they will fund you.
Private Investors 182,989 people

Investment firms 1,662 firms
Venture and private equity funds, family offices and syndicates. Matched on strategy, cheque range, stages and recent deals.
Angel networks 698 networks
Apply once and the network puts your deal in front of its members. Matched on sector, stage, where they invest and typical member ticket.
Lenders 739 lenders
Banks, specialist and private lenders and private credit funds. Matched on product, loan size, security and loan to value, the sectors they fund and won't fund, and where they lend.
Wholesale funders For lenders
Funding lines for lenders raising their own lending book. Matched on who they fund, asset classes and deal size.
Platforms 1,053 platforms
Equity crowdfunding, investment and lending platforms. Matched on raise size, which companies and countries they accept, sector focus, cost and success rate.
Advisers and distribution 5,652 firms
Wealth managers, private banks, placement agents and introducers. Matched on what they distribute, who their clients are and ticket size.
How well they fit, and how you can reach them
Every match shows both, so you can see who to contact first.
How well they fit
How closely the funder's own criteria line up with your deal: size, sector, location, stage and the type of money.
How you can reach them
Rated A to D on how many ways you can reach them. Contact details are always verified before you get them.
A strong match rated C fits your deal, but so far you can only reach them on LinkedIn. A possible rated A is easy to reach but a weaker fit. You only pay for people you can reach.
See what would change the answer
Funders that don't fit aren't hidden. They sit at the bottom of each list with the reason they're out, so you can see what would bring more of them in.
Example records. Funder names are hidden on this page.

Invite co-founders or your own adviser. Advisers can run several clients' raises from one account, each kept private.
Where the investors come from
Many investor databases are built from lists of venture capital funds and the people who work at them.
Capital Raiser starts from the official registers that show who has money or manages it: company owners, property owners, fund managers and registered investors in the UK, the US, Europe, the Gulf, India and Asia. Then it adds rich lists, research on deals, exits and raises, and investors' own posts, and it grows every week.
That's how it finds over 117,000 people with evidence they've actually invested, and over 65,000 more with the wealth to invest, many of whom are on no investor list at all.
Only evidence of having or investing money counts. Borrowing, such as a mortgage on a property company, never makes someone an investor.
Every record shows exactly where it came from and links to the evidence.

What founders say about Matt
Every quote here is from a real email or message.
I think it might be the single most impressive thing I have ever read.
The lead model has pivoted to similar to what you suggested actually! You put the idea in my head.
There's plenty of business content out there, but yours comes from actual experience rather than theory.
Matt gave me more insight than any 'guru' I've spoken to since starting my business!
Wow, that was more than I expected in a reply.
Bloody awesome commentary. One of the best.

Frequently asked questions
What's free?
Pretty much the whole system. Sign up, run your raise, search every investor and lender, see who fits and why, get your deck reviewed, track your deck and find the investors already in your contacts. You only spend credits when you reveal someone's details, ask my AI a question or send outreach, and you get 50 free every month. Capital Catalyst free access is included too.
How do credits work?
Each detail you reveal costs a set number of credits: the profile, LinkedIn, work email, personal email or mobile. You only pay for what you use. Buy credits in packs from 250, with no tie-in, or subscribe for the lowest price. Investor contacts start from 50p each.
What if a detail is wrong?
Report it. We check within 48 hours, and if we can't put it right, your credits are refunded. Subscribers are covered for 90 days after each reveal.
How many investors should I contact?
Hundreds, not dozens. Even investors who fit your deal exactly mostly won't reply to someone they don't know. Every search suggests a number for your round, and tells you where the coverage for your deal is thin.
How do lenders work?
The same way as investors. Every lender is matched on its own criteria, and you reveal the ones you want: the lender, the products that fit your deal and the right person's details.
What's a proven investor?
Someone with evidence they've actually invested: a named deal, a stake in someone else's company, a fund or family office role, a filing. The wealthy who haven't invested yet are shown after them and labelled, so you always know which is which.
How is this different from an investor database?
An investor database gives you a list of names to filter. Capital Raiser starts from your deal, tells you which kinds of money fit it, and matches investors, lenders and platforms in the same search, with the reasons, the evidence and how you can reach each one.
Where is the coverage strongest?
It's global, and grows every week. The UK and the US have the most depth. France and Switzerland are covered from their company registers, and Germany, Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Nordics, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the UAE, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Monaco are growing. Every search tells you where the coverage for your deal is thin.
How fresh is the information?
Investor registers are refreshed monthly to quarterly, and new activity is picked up every day. Contact details are always verified before you get them.
Who sees my deal?
No funder or other customer sees it. Funders only see your deal or your deck if you send it to them.
Can I buy the whole database?
No. We don't sell it in bulk. You get the funders that fit your deal, as many of them as you want.
Does it send the messages for me?
Yes, once you've approved them. It writes each message from what's on the investor's record and sends it from your own email and LinkedIn, within safe daily limits. Before a campaign starts, it checks your messages for spam triggers, sends a test to your own inbox, and lets you send in your time zone or each investor's. Follow-ups stop as soon as someone replies, and every reply lands in one pipeline for the deal, marked interested, wants the deck, not now or no.
Can my team or my clients use it?
Yes. Invite co-founders or your adviser into your raise. Advisers run several clients' raises from one account, each kept private, with their own spending limits.
Does it connect to my other tools?
Yes. Send investors to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce, or connect anything through the API.
What if I'd rather someone did it for me?
Choose Capital Concierge. I run your raise with you for 12 weeks, from the plan and the deck to the investors and the outreach, for £14,995. 4 places a month.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel any time. Your credits never expire while your plan runs, and after it ends they last another 12 months.
