5 things you didn’t know about Elon Musk!

5 things you didn’t know about Elon Musk!As Elon Musk’s highly publicised and controversial new biography goes on sale today, written by the biographer of ‘Steve Jobs,’ Walter Isaacson, we bring you 5 things you didn’t know about the colourful billionaire entrepreneur, as revealed in the new book.

1. The Tesla and X CEO has a secret third child with musician Grimes

Elon Musk has a secret third child with former partner, the musician Grimes, whose identity has been kept a secret until now. The boy goes by the name of Techno Mechanius and is the billionaire’s tenth child with three women. The child’s age has not been revealed, according to the NY Times.

2. Elon Musk’s estranged Dad fathered children with his own stepdaughter

Elon Musk’s estranged Dad, Errol Musk, told him in an email on Father’s Day last year that he had fathered a second child with his former stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout. He already had one child with the girl, who had grown-up with him as a father-figure from the age of four.

3. Musk’s anti-woke outrage stems from an estrangement with his transgender child

Musk has called his daughter Vivian a ‘communist’ who thinks ‘anyone rich is evil’ after accusing the expensive private Santa Monica high school she attended for brainwashing her. His 19-year-old child legally changed her gender to female and her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, saying in a court filing that she ‘no longer wishes to be related’ to the X and Tesla CEO billionaire, reported The Daily Mail

4. Musk refused to assist Ukraine drone attack on Russian fleet

Elon Musk refused to assist Ukraine, by switching on his satellite network to guide drones, in a proposed attack on Russia’s Black Sea fleet last year. This provoked an angry response from Kyiv and renewed questions about the global power of the billionaire businessman, according to an excerpt from the book obtained in advance by the New York Times. However, Musk took to X recently to clarify parts of the story stating: “If I had agreed to their request, then SpaceX would be explicitly complicit in a major act of war and conflict escalation.”

5. Musk thinks he’s bipolar

According to Isaacson, who spent two years with Musk to gather information for the book: “Musk thinks he is bipolar, but has never been diagnosed”. In an interview with the Financial Times, Isaacson also said Musk is “driven by demons” and the Twitter takeover was “insane” as Musk lacks empathy, and so the social media platform is not a good fit.

Speaking to the FT, Isaacson concluded that his time with the controversial figure had left him with big questions: do you have to be half crazy to be truly innovative? And how do you stop a brilliant mind from spinning out of control?
